      Need to enable Remote Desktop connections to a windows 7 PC, but the firewall is blocking RDP? To enable the inbound firewall rule to enable Remote Desktop to a Windows 7 PC by group policy:

      1. Navigate to the following GPO location:

        Computer Configuration -> Policies -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Windows Firewall with Advanced Security -> Windows Firewall with Advanced Security -> Inbound Rules

      2. Right click on Inbound Rules
      3. Click New Rule…
      4. Select Remote Desktop from the Predefined: dropdown menu
      5. Click Next
      6. Click Next
      7. Click Finish
      8. Apply the GPO to an OU containing the computer accounts you wish to enable the Remote Desktop firewall rules to
