Which CPU is Better – AMD or Intel?

      I have my idea about which is better, but I thought I’d get some opinions here. Which is better, an AMD or Intel CPU?

      Personally, I prefer Intel compared to AMD because they seem more reliable and a bit faster. This might be because they have a better relationship with Microsoft and their OS’s are probably designed to work with and are more thoroughly tested with Intel CPUs.

      AMD are tonnes cheaper, but I guess it depends on your reason for buying. For example, I wouldn’t put AMD in a server or workstation, but for home use it’s fine. Then again, if you’re rich then why not treat yourself to an Intel?
