SCCM 2012 has an option called Update Statistics, which is available when you right click a software application / package. What is update statistics in SCCM?
I’m guessing its either to do with telling SCCM to go back to refresh the statistics about the application (such as number of deployments, etc.) from the cache or to tell the cache to get an update?
Another theory I have, which I think is less likely is that it refers to the Update Statistics option in the SQL backend. I think this is less likely because it would effect the whole SCCM database, rather than just info pertaining to the application (I guess – I’m not a DBA).
Can anyone tell me what the Update Statistics option is in SCCM 2012, please?
