There Were Some Problems Installing Updates – Error 0x800b0001

When trying to update Windows, you get this error:

There were some problems installing updates, but we’ll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x800b0001)

To fix error 0x800b0001, I tried running this:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Then this:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\RepairSource\Windows /LimitAccess

(both run as administrator), but couldn’t get Windows Update working, so I then tried repairing Windows by holding SHIFT while clicking on Reboot, then I did a computer repair (without deleting my apps and files – which actually deleted my apps). This fixed error 0x800b0001, and Windows Update now works.
