      If you get the following error in the Event Log:

      The NLS operation failed because the registry key Control Panel\International\User Profile cannot be opened. Error code is 2. Error message: The system cannot find the file specified.
      Source: Microsoft-Windows-International
      Event ID: 1001

      This error is related to failings in the Regional settings for Windows.

      To fix the NLS operation failed error, run Windows Updates (Especially if you’re working with Windows 10). Alternatively, if it is related to a particular application, you can fix this by creating a Windows Firewall rule.
