To enable the standard monitors in PowerAdmin Server Monitor to work, you need to enable the following rules on Windows Firewall:

      Disk Space
      File and Printer Sharing (SMB-In)

      Event Log
      Remote Event Log Management (RPC)
      Remote Event Log Management (RPC-EPMAP)

      Performance Counters
      Performance Logs and Alerts (TCP-In)

      Ping
File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request – ICMPv4-In)

      Services
      Remote Service Management (RPC)
      Remote Service Management (RPC-EPMAP)

      Inventory Collection
      Windows Management Instrumentation (DCOM-In)
      COM+ Network Access (DCOM-In)

❗ Pro tip: If you suspect that the firewall is blocking PowerAdmin Server Monitor, turn the firewall off momentarily to see if it’s allowed. OK, not really a pro tip. More of a temporary security hole for bots, but might be find on some networks to do this.

If you have any issues with the Windows Firewall blocking PowerAdmin Server Monitor, please start a new thread with an apprioriate title and I will help you 🙂
