When trying to start TeamViewer, you may get this error:

Microsoft Edge can’t write to its data directory:

      C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\TeamViewer\EdgeBrowserControl\Persistent\MainWindow_GUID\EBWebView

This is because you’ve right clicked TeamViewer and started it as a different user (possibly Administrator in an attempt to get the unattended “Easy” Access working). TeamViewer uses an Edge browser control which uses Microsoft Edge (kinda), here lies the problem: the user doesn’t have permission to the folder that it’s trying to write to (specified in the error).

You can get around this by logging into the computer as the user you’re trying to run TeamViewer as. That’s the easiest way. The other way to fix it is to try to fix the underlying error by looking at permissions and also that the correct folder location is used by Edge (more research required on that last option).
