How To Stop Spotify Opening Automatically When You Start The Computer

Rather annoyingly, Spotify starts automatically each time you log into the computer. To stop Spotify opening automatically when you log into the computer:

1. Within Spotify, click Edit -> Preferences
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the Preferences and click “Show advanced settings”
3. Under “Startup and Window Behavior”, change the Open Spotify automatically after you log into the computer dropdown box to “No”

After this, Spotify should stop opening automatically when you log into the computer. There is no need to hit any save or OK button to keep this setting.
