How To Prevent Google Displaying Ads

There are lots of advert blockers on the internet that can stop Google displaying ads, but I don’t want webpages to look funny. Also, I don’t want to block all ads, because I can miss out on finding out about some products and I believe that adverts fund a good amount of the internet and keeps a lot of things free-to-use. I just want to block out the adverts about Russian brides and Thai women that I find a bit offensive.

To do this, I edited my advert settings on Google and opted out of interest based ads (I think they must have been targeting my gender and age group with these ads).
