How To Move Apps To SD Card – Windows 10 Phone

Need to move your apps to your SD card to free up some space on your Windows 10 phone? Here’s how to move apps to the SD card in Windows 10:

1. Firstly search for and launch the Storage Sense app (install it if you don’t have it)
2. Go to the phone area of the memory
3. Go to Apps and Games
4. Select an application that you want to move to the SD card
5. Click move to SD

The application will then be moved to the SD card. You have to do this for each application that you want to move to the SD card.

❗ Note: Not all apps can be moved to the SD card, some will only be able to be installed on the phone’s memory. I suspect that this is because they rely on specific Windows 10 components being installed in the same directory as them or vice versa.
