Icons on the ribbon are hard to find, the Freeze Panes (Freeze Row) icon is one such icon. The Freeze Panes (row) icon can be found under the “View” tab, once you’ve selected the row you want to freeze. If you want to freeze just the top row, there’s even a Freeze Panes icon specifically for that under the View tab in the ribbon.
