      When my computer restarts for important updates, my computer never gets past the updating phase and I must manually restart it. I know that this is a bad practice, how can I fix this?

      Does it always get stuck doing the same update, or does it consider the update successful after you cold restart it?

      I believe I know the OP’s issue. I had this aswell and it can be fixed by installing the needed updates manually.
