The settings to change the binding order of the NICs in Server 2012 R2 are a little hidden. To change the NIC binding order in Server 2012 R2, go to Network Connections (Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections), then press the Alt key on the keyboard. This will produce the hidden menu. Click Advanced to see and edit the NIC binding order.
