How To Change The Default OU (Container) Computers Are Created In

By default, AD computer accounts are created in the Computers OU, but you can change this. To change the default OU computer accounts are created in, use this command on any domain controller:

redircmp Container-DN

It’s a good idea to change the default OU because it alleviates the security risk that computers may not be locked down by group policy when they are added to the domain.
