  I can’t remember exactly the error I got with VB5DB.DLL, but basically it’s caused by the required files not being shipped with the VB program you are installing. To fix this, get the developer to package the program properly or install Service Pack 6 for Visual Basic 6.0: Run-Time Redistribution Pack (vbrun60sp6.exe) on the PC with the error.
