Can a Kindle (or other e-reader using E-Ink) get screen burn? Answer: Screen burn does not happen on E-Ink screens, but you can get Ghosting, which is when the E-Ink is left on the screen from moving text or images on the screen. However, Ghosting is not the same as screen burn and doesn’t cause damage to the screen; In fact, it goes away when the screen refreshes 🙂
