When starting VMware Player, you can get this error:
An internal error occurred while preparing to run your virtual machine
This internal error can be fix by either
- Starting / restarting the VMware Authorization Service
- Running VMware Player as Administrator
- Restarting the computer
- Reinstalling VMware Player
For most people, restarting the VMware Authorization Service will fix the error, but for me I had to restart the whole computer 🙁 I now no longer get an internal error while preparing to run my VM 🙂
