Windows Cannot Move Object Because Access Is Denied

When trying to move an object in AD, you get this error:

Windows cannot move object because access is denied

This is because the object is protected from accidental deletion and therefore cannot be moved.

To move the object, in AD Users and Computers, click View and select Advanced Features if it is not already ticked on. Then right click the object you cannot move and click Properties. Click the Object tab and deselect Protect object from accidental deletion.

You should now be able to move the object without Windows complaining that it cannot move the object or access is denied messages.
