If you are unable to edit you Microsoft Outlook rules (maybe they’re grayed out or not listed), you can fix this by starting Outlook in safe mode. To do this, navigate to the outlook executable in the command prompt and run it with the /safe parameter. Alternatively, hit start, then type:
outlook / safe
Outlook should then run in safe mode, during which time you can delete and recreate the rules, or in my case, simply restarting Outlook after it was run in safe mode enabled me to edit the Outlook rules 🙂
