If you find that your Windows XP machine can’t access file shares from non-XP machines (Server 2019, Windows 10, 11, etc.) then this is because XP uses an older version of the file sharing protocol (SMB) that isn’t natively installed on newer operating systems.
More specifically, XP uses SMB version 1, while other operating systems use SMB version 2 for file sharing across a network.
To enable you to access file shares from newer versions of Windows from XP, install the SMB v1 feature on the non-XP machine hosting the file share.
