Prevent IE 11 Installing New Versions Automatically

By default Install new versions automatically is enabled in Internet Explorer 11. To prevent IE 11 from installing new versions automatically via GPO, create a new GPO Preference to create the following registry update (Computer Configuration -> Preferences -> Registry):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN

Create a DWORD called EnableAutoUpgrade with a value of 00000000 (HEX)

This will cause Internet Explorer 11 not to automatically install updates.
