Sometimes pausing a download, then clicking resume can cause the download to be stuck on a status of Resuming. To stop a download that is stuck on Resuming, close Internet Explorer, reboot the PC, open IE and press CTRL+J to open the download list, then cancel or attempt to resume the download.
If it gets stuck on resuming again, you’ll have to do the same process then cancel the download and start from fresh.
