FaceBook’s Android app sends notifications by default. To stop FaceBook notifications on your Android Phone:
- On your Android, launch the FaceBook app
- Click the Menu button on your Android
- Click on Settings
- Under Notification Settings, click on Notifications to stop all notifications, or deselect the specific types of notifications that you want to stop receiving
Personally, I like to be notified of friend requests, messages and the like, but like to stop FaceBook friend requests because FaceBook constantly asks me if I might know people.
