How To Remove The Sidebar In Adobe Reader DC

Since nobody likes the sidebar in Adobe Reader, Adobe added a tickbox to get rid of it. To remove the sidebar in Adobe Reader DC, launch Adobe Reader DC and press CTRL+K, then click on Documents on the left hand pane, then deselect Open tools pane for each document. This will stop the sidebar from opening on new documents, but you still need to turn if off to make it go away. To do this, in Adobe Reader DC, untick View -> Show/Hide -> Tools Pane or press Shift+F4.
