How To Make Google The Default Search Engine in Microsoft Edge Browser

Microsoft Edge (the new IE Browser in Windows 10) makes it hard to change the default search engine to Google by missing the list of search engines. To change the default search engine to Google in Microsoft Edge:

1. Open Microsoft Edge
2. Visit Google.com (this loads it into the list of possible search engines to set as the default)
3. Click the … icon in the top right of the Edge browser
4. Click Settings
5. Click View Advanced Settings (Microsoft tries to hide the option to change your default search engine here, too)
6. Click the dropdown arrow where it says Search in the address bar with
7. Click Add new
8. Select Google as your default search engine

Your default search engine in Microsoft Edge will now be set to Google.
