Need to install web parts in SharePoint 2013? Here’s how to install web parts in SharePoint 2013:
- Log into SharePoint as a SharePoint Site Administrator
- On the parent site, go to Settings -> Site Settings
- Under Web Designer Galleries, click Web parts
- Click on the Files tab
- Click Upload Document
- Upload the dwp file (SharePoint web part) and click OK
That’s it, your web part is now installed into SharePoint 2013. Next you need to add the web part to the pages you want to display it on.
To install a web part to a particular page, go to the page and click Edit. On the Insert tab, click on Web Part where you want the web part to appear, then select the web part you want to install from the list and click Save.
