By default you can’t install MSU files with command line switches, but it is possible! To install MSU files with command line switches, run this command:
Wusa.exe
/quiet /norestart In my example, I’ve included the quiet and noreboot command line switches, which are commonly used when installing software or updates remotely so as not to interrupt the user (silent mode). For a full list of command line switches for MSU files, run:
wusa.exe /?
