How To Force Update Group Policy On All Machines Without PowerShell

Did you know that you can force a group policy update on all machines in the network from the Group Policy Management Console? Here’s how to force all machines or a selection of machines to update their group policy:

First of all, you need to have the 2012 version of the Group Policy Management Console. Then, right click the OU that contains the machines you want to update and click “Update Group Policy”, then click “Yes”.

❗ Note: Users on the machines may get a command prompt box pop up asking them if they want to log off (The same one you get when you do gpupdate).
