      When I ran Access, I got the error:

      File sharing lock count exceeded.

      The File sharing lock count exceeded error went away when I changed HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Jet\4.0\Engines\Jet 4.0\MaxLocksPerFile from 9500 to 95000

      Hope that helps anyone with a file sharing lock in Access.
